Capital City Author Event 2024

Welcome to the South!

Visit downtown Montgomery, AL, rich in history and southern hospitality, to meet some of your favorite authors of various genres. The Capital City Author Event will host over 80 authors, including many local Alabama authors. The signing event will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 12:00 PM – 4:00 pm CST at the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel and Spa at the Convention Center, in downtown Montgomery. There are VIP (early entry, with special VIP bag, lanyard, and swag) and General Admission available for purchase. There will also be a Friday night Meet / Greet from 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm CST, Theme is Dancing through the Decades! Come dressed in your favorite decade attire (optional). Tickets for Meet/Greet and Author Signing are available via Eventbrite.
